Jason Watson
Owner / Founder
Jason earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business with a minor in Marketing in 2004. While in college and for two years prior, he gained valuable experience working in various roles within the financial industry. After being presented with an opportunity and in order to earn a little extra money he took a second job with a swimming pool company where he quickly discovered a new passion. Recognizing his growing interest in the industry, Jason made the decision to leave finance behind and pursue a new path. In 2006, he founded The Blue Lagoons, combining his business expertise with a strong enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service and creating beautiful outdoor living spaces.
Today, Jason lives in Heath with his wonderful wife, two beautiful daughters, and two trouble maker dogs who always keep life interesting.
Pete Baczynski
Pete earned his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Texas A&M University and his Master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma.
With a diverse background in safety, compliance, and operations management at a major construction firm, Pete brings a wealth of experience to his current role. After years in the corporate world, he sought a change—one that would allow him to work more closely with customers. This led him to The Blue Lagoons, where his passion and commitment for delivering hands-on solutions make a real impact every day.
Pete lives in Heath with his wonderful wife, Anna, and their two beautiful children, Cohen and Eva, where they cherish every moment together as a family.
Victor Mueller
Designer
Victor began his career in the swimming pool industry in 1987 and has been designing custom pools since 1996. With nearly four decades of experience, he has helped more than 1,200 homeowners turn their backyard dreams into reality by creating beautiful, long-lasting swimming pools for families to enjoy.
Victor is passionate about what he does and takes great pride in listening to each client’s vision and bringing it to life. His extensive knowledge of local soil conditions, city setbacks, and municipal codes allows him to design projects that are both structurally sound and compliant. He spends as much time as needed with every client, ensuring they feel comfortable, confident, and excited about their Blue Lagoons project from start to finish.
Family plays a central role in Victor’s life. He has been married for 41 years and has three grown children and nine grandchildren. With his wife’s parents living with them and their entire family local, Victor values strong family connections—values that influence the care, trust, and dedication he brings to every project.
Austin Costley
Designer
Born in Greenville, Texas and raised in Allen, TX, Austin brings over a decade of hands-on experience in pool construction, remodeling, and design. After graduating from Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, Texas in 2008, he began working in the pool industry in 2010, starting as a summer job that quickly turned into a long-term career.
In 2015, Austin co-founded a pool construction and remodeling company in Katy, TX, which he successfully ran with his brother for five years. In 2020, he returned to the DFW area and joined The Blue Lagoons as a Project Manager, overseeing projects from initial design through completion. He currently serves as a Design Consultant, focusing on custom pool remodels that blend functionality, craftsmanship, and personalized design.
With extensive field experience and a strong construction background, Austin is dedicated to creating outdoor spaces that enhance both lifestyle and property value
Natalie Daniel
Service Office Manager
Natalie grew up in Plano and attended Texas Lutheran College in Seguin, Texas. She brings more than 35 years of experience in office management and customer service, with a background that spans both corporate environments and a family-owned business. This diverse experience has given her a strong understanding of operations and a deep commitment to exceptional customer care.
At The Blue Lagoons, Natalie oversees the entire service department. She and her team play a key role in guiding clients through the pool ownership process, ensuring every step is smooth, well-informed, and stress-free. Natalie is dedicated to delivering first-rate service and creating a positive experience from start to finish.
Natalie lives in Greenville and is the proud mother of three adult children and four grandchildren. Her favorite title is “Nana.”
Jenn Tate
Construction Plan Designer & Social Media Manager
A North Texas native, originally from Celina and a graduate of Rockwall High School, Jenn Tate found her true passion in construction and outdoor living design through years of hands-on experience and client-focused work. She brings over 20 years of administrative and customer service experience, with a strong foundation in organization, communication, and attention to detail.
At The Blue Lagoons, Jenn is involved in every project from the planning phase through construction, while also sharing the behind-the-scenes process and finished results through the company’s social media. She understands that a swimming pool is one of the biggest investments a family will make and takes pride in being part of that process—ensuring every detail is thoughtfully planned, clearly communicated, and executed with care.
Outside of work, Jenn loves spending time with her family and believes the best outdoor spaces are the ones that bring people together and create lasting memories.
Alyssa Hughes
Office Construction Manager
Alyssa is the Office Construction Manager at The Blue Lagoons, overseeing each project with thoughtful planning, clear communication, and precision. Alyssa has over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, including three years specializing in pool projects. Originally pursuing a path in education with plans to become a math teacher, she discovered a passion for construction along the way—where problem-solving, planning, and hands-on work come together.
Married and a proud parent of one child, Alyssa is deeply committed to helping clients bring their backyard visions to life through thoughtful planning, clear communication, and quality craftsmanship. She takes pride in guiding each project with care and precision, ensuring every detail meets the high standards clients expect.
Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys hiking, exploring creeks, spending time outdoors with her family, and appreciating great food.
Katie Koenig
Bachelor’s Degree from The University of North Texas in 2006
Experience in the pool industry since 2005 including management, service, and design.
Lives in Uptown Dallas.
In spare time she enjoys staying active on the Katy Trail, attending sports events, going to concerts, and traveling.
LeeAnn Watson
LeeAnn is originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from Western Michigan University. After leaving a career in Retail Buying, LeeAnn followed her love for design and creativity and joined the family business at The Blue Lagoons.
LeeAnn is married with two beautiful daughters and lives in Heath, TX. She enjoys outdoor activities, biking and spending time with family when not working.
